$1.15m bridge an example of Cabonne working with its communities

A new $1.15 million bridge, officially opened today, will stand as a concrete example of the long-standing partnership between Cabonne Council and the Cumnock community.
The new bridge over Hillan's Creek on the Eurimbla Road was officially opened by Cabonne Mayor Kevin Beatty and will greatly enhance the safety of drivers travelling between Cumnock and the Mitchell Highway.

Cabonne Council will soon begin work on the upgrade of access to groundwater for the town of Molong thanks to a $960,000 grant from the NSW Government.
Cabonne Mayor, Cr Kevin Beatty, welcomed the Government’s announcement of funding as great news for Cabonne and those residents reliant on the Molong Creek Dam water supply.

Road upgrades underpin Cabonne's $21.9m capital works program

A $21.9 million capital works program is the centrepiece of Cabonne Council’s 2019-2020 Budget. In keeping with Cabonne’s commitment to road safety, the capital works program is underpinned by almost $14m of roadworks and a further $2.6m to construct two new bridges.
