Worm Farming & Composting Workshop

Thinking about starting your own worm farm or compost bin system at home, but don’t know where to start?

Join NetWaste and Cabonne Council at the Cabonne Community Centre for a free worm farming and composting workshop at 2pm Saturday 18thJanuary 2025. We’ll cover the do’s and don’ts for worm farming and composting, as well as the basics on how to harness the power of worms and beneficial bugs to turn your food and garden ‘waste’ into nutrient-rich compost and liquid fertiliser!

Worm farming and composting are simple ways that we can divert our organic waste from landfill, reduce emissions and air pollution, and returning those nutrients from our food and garden scraps straight back to our own backyards. Compost and worm castings are also great natural soil conditioners, helping you water less and save more money!

Come along to learn why we should all be worm farming and composting at home, why we should think twice before using synthetic fertilisers on our edible gardens, and how to set up a worm farm and compost bin.

Bookings are essential, reserve your free spot by clicking the link below or searching ‘worm farm workshop Cabonne’ at Eventbrite.com.
