Orange Regional Cycle Tour
The tour starts at Orange and will visit the historical village and towns of Millthorpe, Carcoar, Woodstock, Cowra, Canowindra, Cargo, Cudal, Molong, and Orange. The Central West and Orange Region is very scenic and picturesque region known as the golden circle of food production across all sectors grain, vegetables, wine and meat. You will be able to taste the fresh produce. The roads are 50% gravel back roads with low traffic carefully selected to avoid the main roads (A & B Roads) so that you can peacefully cycle enjoy the scenery and highlights of our region.

Day 0:Pre-Tour arrival - Accommodation Booked
Stay: Orange
Arrive at Orange and prepare your bike and equipment for the cycle tour. Relax and get ready for dinner, meet the other tour cyclists and Central West Tours staff.
Orange Cycling Tour - starts
Day 1: Orange to Millthorpe - 45km
Stay: Millthorpe
We will cycle along quite country gravel roads to the historical town of Millthorpe for a relaxing evening.
Day 2: Millthorpe to Carcoar - 45km
Stay: Carcoar
We will cycle along quite country gravel roads via Blayney, coffee stop. The tour continues to the historical town of Carcoar and a relaxing evening.
Day 3: Carcoar to Woodstock - 60km
Stay: Woodstock
We will cycle along quite country gravel roads via Mandurama, coffee stop. The tour continues to the township of Woodstock and a relaxing evening in the hotel.
Day 4: Woodstock to Cowra - 25km
Stay: Cowra
Easy day to Cowra, the route is mainly flat on some gravel road. On arrival at Cowra we will visit the Japanese Garden and lunch will be provided. The afternoon is yours to discover Cowra and relax. Bellevue Hill Reserve Lookout is breath taking view of Cowra and the region. Visit the POW Camp.
Day 5: Cowra to Canowindra - 45km
Stay: Canowindra
We will visit the Cowra Information Centre to see the Hologram and the local produce. Cycle thru highly productive farm land which may give an opportunity to get photos of Canola (yellow flower) depending on the season. Canowindra is the town that was taken over by Bushranger Ben Hall and his gang, we will show you the site of the hotel. Visit to the Ages of Fishes Museum and Historical Museum.
Day 6: Canowindra to Cudal via Cargo - 60km
Stay: Cudal
The tour takes us via the village of Cargo. The town of Cargo is a quaint little town where lunch will be supplied by Central West Tours.
Day 7: Cudal to Molong - 35km
Stay: Molong
Easy day of cycling along country gravel roads so that cyclist can enjoy the amazing scenery.
Day 8: Molong to Orange - 50km
Stay: Orange
Depart the tour early or stay an extra day to further explore and enjoy the attractions of Orange region and the Central West.
Day 9: Tour Ends with Hotel checkout
Tour officially concludes with hotel checkout.
