Washpen Creek Bridge Upgrade Completed!

Council is pleased to announce that the Washpen Creek Bridge on Gundong Road, Obley, has been successfully upgraded and is now open for use! 

The new bridge, which replaces the old single-lane structure, is a higher, wider, dual-lane concrete bridge that significantly improves road safety and accessibility for the community.

The project also included upgrades to the road alignment and the Gundong-Greenbah Creek Road intersection.

This essential upgrade was made possible by funding from the Australian Government’s Bridges Renewal Program.
