Snow and ice keep Mount Canobolas summit closed to traffic

Access roads to Mount Canobolas remain closed by snow and ice.

An inspection will be held tomorrow morning (Tuesday 21 August 2018) to determine whether the roads can be reopened.

While the section of road from the Mountain Tea House to Old Canobolas Road is open, the section from Old Canobolas Road to the summit is closed to traffic.
