Today, Member for Orange Philip Donato MP hosted the 4th Annual Orange Electorate 2025 Community Recognition Awards at the Australian National Field Days Function Centre, honouring individuals and organisations who have made a significant impact in their community.

A special congratulations to our local Canowindra award recipients and dedicated Age of Fishes Museum volunteers, Robyn Callingham and Lorraine Speer, who were recognised for their outstanding contributions to our community.

Volunteers are the heart of the Age of Fishes Museum and many other community organisations, dedicating their time and expertise to preserving history, educating visitors, and enriching our region. Their work ensures that Canowindra’s unique fossil heritage remains accessible and celebrated for generations to come.

Mr Donato personally presented each recipient with a certificate, acknowledging their efforts and the difference they make.

Thank you to all volunteers who continue to strengthen our community with their dedication and passion!
